Everyday Supermarket announces Founder/CEO's retirement

The founder, managing director (CEO), and managing director of Everyday Supermarket, Dr Charles Dimnwaobi, has announced his retirement. Dr. Charles has been with the company since its inception in 1994 and has been instrumental in its expansion over the past 29 years. He will now serve as Founder Emeritus and Director Advisor. This transition is a significant landmark for Everyday Supermarket.


Everyday Group partnered with strategic investor Uhuru Investment Partners in January 2022 to head the company's next growth phase. Dr. Dimnwaobi expressed pride and gratitude for the more than three decades he has spent with the company, and he believes that the partnership with Uhuru Investment Partners will strengthen the company's foundation for future development.

This leadership transition is part of the company's succession plan, and the Board of Directors intends to implement strategic innovations and standard corporate governance practises to ensure the company's continued success. Sachin Gupta has been designated as Everyday Supermarket's acting managing director.
