FBN Holdings wins awards of 'Great Place to Work'

It said that FBN Holdings received gold certification as a great workplace, attesting to the quality of its people and practices.

FBN Holdings Plc has been recognized for performing creditably at the 2022 "Great Place to Work Awards" ceremony.

Mr. Tunde Lawanson, Head, Marketing and Corporate Communications, FBN Holdings Plc, made this known in a statement on Monday in Lagos.

The statement said the holding company, along with its subsidiaries First Bank of Nigeria Ltd., FBNQuest, and FBN Insurance Brokers, were recognized at the prestigious event held at the Landmark Event Centre on Victoria Island.

It said that FBN Holdings received gold certification as a great workplace, attesting to the quality of its people and practices.

"The holding company received the award for the "Best in Learning and Development"; this is evident with the deliberate focus on capability development for its employees toward building a highly productive workforce."

"FBNHoldings was also adjudged the third-best workplace in the small corporate category.

"In the other categories, First Bank of Nigeria Ltd. received a silver certification as a great workplace and also won the "Best in Corporate and Social Responsibility," affirming its undisputable role and performance in the sustainability space," it said.

The statement also said the bank was ranked as the fifth-best workplace in the large corporate category.

It said the FBN Insurance Brokers received gold certification while FBNQuest received silver certification to cap a glorious evening for the group at the event.

The statement quoted Mr. Nnamdi Okonkwo, the Group Managing Director of FBN Holdings Plc, as saying, "The recognition and awards clearly underscore our commitment to best-in-class HR practices to foster a high-performance organization."

"The award on sustainability is indeed a recognition of the leadership's decision to give back and contribute positively to society."
