“As part of the efforts of giving back to our alma-mata, many members of the association indicated their interest to offer lecture series to lecturers and students on their experiences.

“We are also discussing with the university on the modalities of the lectures; the lectures will be an online platform based on the current condition of the country.

“Similarly, as part of our effort to enhance synergy and give back to our alma-mata, our members donated hundreds of books and other literary works to the department,’’ Kaita said.

He appealed to the alumni of the university to reconnect with the university towards improving support to ABU for better research and development initiatives.

On the visit to the Emir, Kaita said the emir had numerously supported the association and attended its programmes, hence the decision to pay him a special visit to appreciation.
