Christmas: Emir Sanusi felicitates Christians

The Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, has congratulated Christians in Kano State on the occasion of the 2024 Christmas celebration.
In a goodwill message, made available to newsmen on Wednesday, the traditional ruler emphasised the importance of peaceful coexistence among the residents, regardless of their religious affiliations.
The emir stressed that religious differences should not be a source of conflict, citing the Holy Quran’s teachings on peaceful coexistence.
He urged Christians and Muslims to live in harmony, and allowing each individual to practise their faith without hindrance.
Sanusi called on the residents to embrace peaceful coexistence for the development of the state and the country.
He emphasized the importance of mutual respect among residents, regardless of their religious affiliations.
