Tinubu will be most impactful President – Yoruba Ronu Group

 A Yoruba socio-political organisation, Yoruba Ronu Group(YRG), says President Bola Tinubu is poised to leave indelible mark that will make him most impactful President in the country.

In a birthday message to the President on Saturday in Akure, the Chairman of the group, Dr Diran Iyantan, described Tinubu’s life journey as being defined by an unwavering commitment to the service of Nigerians.

Iyantan said that Tinubu, a transformative leader and visionary, had consistently demonstrated the qualities of an iconic statesman, both as former governor and as current President.

He explained that the President since assuming office, had approached governance with a courageous spirit, undertaking significant reforms across all sectors in the country.

The Yoruba Ronu Group chairman added that Tinubu’s efforts to sanitise the financial sector and implement comprehensive reforms would undoubtedly stand the test of time, leaving a legacy that would benefit generations to come.

Iyantan, who expressed pride in the organisation’s early endorsement of President Tinubu, stated that the group had seen a shining star in the President as one that would shine over the country.

“This vision was the reason we mobilised Nigerians, especially those from the South-West region and we urged Asiwaju to run for the presidency.

“Our support for his campaign was driven by our belief in his potential to lead Nigeria towards greatness.

“The Yoruba Ronu Group is immensely proud of President Tinubu’s achievements and firmly believes that one term is not sufficient to fulfil the ambitious vision he has for a lasting and prosperous nation.

He expressed the group’s gratitude for the remarkable gift the President had given to Nigerians, particularly with the signing of the South-West Development Commission Bill into law.

“This milestone marks a significant advancement in regional development, poised to drive infrastructure growth, stimulate economic progress, and enhance social welfare in the South-West region – an achievement reminiscent of the era of Chief Obafemi Awolowo as Premier of the Western State.

“The establishment of the South-West Development Commission, alongside five other regional development commissions initiated by President Tinubu, underscores his commitment to inclusive governance and regional empowerment.

“These commissions will play a crucial role in promoting grassroots development, job creation, and social progress, ensuring that all parts of Nigeria benefit from this administration’s developmental agenda,” he said.

Iyantan also commended the President for confronting the nation’s challenges, which he said had plagued the nation for long.
