Headies Award 2021 Winners, Full List

Headies, Nigeria biggest music awards ceremony, 2021 was not held in a physical venue where fans would have been present to witness and celebrate with their favourite artiste.

This is due to the Current Covid-19 regulations in Lagos, Nigeria. The Headies which took place on Sunday, 21 February 2021 took a different direction by going virtual. However, the organisers are hoping that this 14th Edition enters history books as one of the most attended virtual event in Nigeria.

Eko Convention Centre, since 2016 has often served tremendously as the venue for every Headies.

From the annual auspicious event, Nigerian musician, Fireboy won four awards. One is the Music Award show in Nigeria. Two, Best R&B Single, Best R&B. Three, Best R&B Album and four, Best Pop Award. He also received the Best Headies Revelation to make him the Artiste with the highest number of awards in the show.

Ayo Balogun, popular called Wizkid won Artiste of the year and Viewers Choice Award.

The award show that was held offline to instill the Covid 19 restriction in Lagos, still had massive audience that gathered around the streaming platforms all over the world.

King Sunny Ade collected an award as he joined the Headies Hall of Fame.

Other stars that won were Mayorkun, Best Street Hop of the year.

Omah Lay as the Next Rated, Niniola as Best Vocal Performance and Simi as Best Collabo with Ladipo and Best Song Writer of Year.
