Cloud technology key to unlocking Nigeria’s business potential – Zoho

Zoho, a multinational technology company on Tuesday said that Nigeria’s businesses could unlock their full potential and achieve sustainable growth by embracing cloud-based technology.

The Country Head, Zoho Nigeria, Mr Kehinde Ogundare, said in a statement in Lagos that Nigeria’s entrepreneurial spirit and burgeoning middle class offered fertile ground for innovation and expansion.

Ogundare said that many businesses remained tethered to manual processes, limiting their ability to scale and compete effectively.

He said that traditional growth models lacked the agility needed to keep pace with an evolving market.

According to him, manual processes led to inefficiencies, limited data insights, and restricted IT resources.

“Digital transformation is no longer optional, it is a necessity.

‘’By embracing cloud-based technology, Nigerian businesses can overcome traditional growth barriers, scale efficiently, and unlock their full potential,” Ogundare said.

According to him, cloud-based platforms eliminate the need for costly infrastructure investments, offering businesses access to cutting-edge technology on a flexible, scalable basis.

The country head also highlighted the importance of integrated Software as a Service (SaaS) platforms, which provided a unified ecosystem to manage all facets of a business, automating workflows, reducing manual data entry, and improving team collaboration.

He said that Zoho’s software emphasised contextual intelligence, leveraging AI to provide genuine customer value.

Ogundare said that the company was committed to customer privacy, ensuring that businesses could leverage data responsibly.

He urged Nigerian businesses to adopt a holistic approach to digital transformation, optimizing their entire technology stack to achieve seamless integration and optimal performance.
