‘Alaye’ tops Prime Video Nigeria charts
A biopic about the life and times of Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti, a renowned Nigerian activist and mother of afrobeat legend, Fela Kuti, is fourth.
‘Alaye’, a movie starring Ruth Kadiri and Sam Perry, who is popularly known as Broda Shaggi, has topped the Prime Video film chart in Nigeria.
‘Saving Onome’, a movie about two devoted parents fighting against all odds for their chronically ill daughter, came in at second while ‘Omugo Mefa’, a story about six notorious armed robbers, ranked third on the chart.

‘The Boys’, a series about superheroes, and ‘My Lady Jane’, a series about the tale of true love and high adventure, are fifth and sixth respectively on the chart.
‘Demon Within’, a suspense thriller, and ‘Beast of Two Worlds’ (Ajakaju), a Yoruba movie about a king who does everything necessary to ensure his dynasty lives on, as well as ‘Space Cadet’, a romantic comedy, occupied the seventh, eighth and ninth positions.
Mr and Mrs, a family drama starring Rita Dominic and Chidi Mokeme, completed the Top 10.
