Breaking: 27 Rivers lawmakers loyal to Wike defect to APC

Amidst the political unrest that has broken out in the state between Sim Fubara, the current governor, and the former governor's camp.

According to Supreme News, roughly 27 legislators who supported former Rivers state governor and Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike have defected to the All Progressive Congress, or APC.

Wike's former staffer Chris made this revelation on X, formerly Twitter, after abruptly switching sides over the weekend and citing River State's interest as justification.

Additionally, he stated that Nyesom Wike will shortly be joining All Progressive Congress.
