Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta gets Acting Bursar
Osinuga joined the service of the university in June 1998 as Accountant 1 and rose to the rank of Director, now Deputy Bursar, in 2012.
The Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta (FUNAAB) on Thursday announced the appointment of Mr. Olukayode Osinuga as the institution’s Acting Bursar.
Supreme News reports that the announcement of Osinuga’s appointment is contained in a letter signed by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Olusola Kehinde.
According to the letter, Osinuga’s appointment comes on the heels of the expiration of the tenure of the immediate-past Bursar, Mr. Chukwuwinke Ezekpeazu.
“Osinuga joined the service of the university in June 1998 as Accountant 1 and rose to the rank of Director, now Deputy Bursar, in 2012.
“Until his appointment as Acting Bursar, Osinuga was Deputy Bursar I in FUNAAB, and he is a tested, proven, and seasoned Chartered Accountant.
“He holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Accounting, obtained at the Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU), as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science from FUNAAB.
“Osinuga also has a M.Sc. in Accounting from the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) in Ile-Ife and an MBA in Agribusiness from FUNAAB,” Kehinde said in the letter.
The vice chancellor also said the Acting Bursar was the immediate-past Bursar of the National Institute for Educational Planning and Administration in Ondo State.
“Osinuga attended various professional and management training workshops within and outside the country.
”The Acting Bursar, who is celebrated as a genius in his profession, has won many awards within and outside the university,” he said.
