Gov. Makinde reappoints Adekambi, Boladuro, several others
He listed other appointments approved by the governor to include that of Rev. Femi Ibikunle as Special Assistant on Inter-Faith Affairs and Mr Timothy Olufemi as Executive Assistant on Disabilities Matters.
Gov. Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has reappointed Mr Ayodele Adekanmbi and Mr Olajide Boladuro as Directors-General of the state’s Agency for People Living with Disabilities and the Gaming Board respectively.
Mr Segun Ogunwuyi, Gov. Makinde’s Chief of Staff, conveyed the reappointments in a letter issued on Wednesday evening in Ibadan.
He further disclosed that the governor also reappointed Bishop David Moradeyo as chairman of the Christian Wing of Oyo State Pilgrims Welfare Board.
”Sheikh Wahab Atere was equally reappointed as chairman of the board’s Muslim Wing,” Ogunwuyi added.
He listed other appointments approved by the governor to include that of Rev. Femi Ibikunle as Special Assistant on Inter-Faith Affairs and Mr Timothy Olufemi as Executive Assistant on Disabilities Matters.
”Alhaji AbdulRasheed Adewale was also appointed as Special Assistant on Islamic Affairs, and Mr Lanre Dairo as Special Assistant on Housing and Urban Development.
”Equally, Mr Olaniyan Babatunde was appointed the Executive Chairman of Shooting Stars Football Club and Mr Ayoola Olowosoke the Chairman of Agency for Adult and Non-Formal Education (AANFE).”
Ogunwuyi added that Gov. Makinde has also appointed Sheikh Taofeeq Akewugbagold as Chairman, Agric Credit Corporation, while Mr Ezekiel Ojekunle was appointed Chairman, Rural Electrification Board.
”Mrs Olaitan Adedotun was appointed the Chairperson, Broadcasting Service of Oyo State (BCOS) and Mr Tolu Kuku was appointed Senior Special Assistant on Domestic Affairs.”
He stated that Gov. Makinde, while congratulating the appointees, charged them to see their appointments which are with immediate effect as a call to greater service.
“The governor urged them to discharge their duties with optimum dedication to the state,” Ogunwuyi said.
