The BBC has unveiled in a three-part investigative documentary how Ajoke, the daughter of the late Nigerian pastor Temitope Balogun Joshua, also referred to as TB Joshua, was subjected to chronic abuse and torment.

According to the documentary, TB Joshua's disciples assert that Ajoke was obtained extramaritally and that the deceased cleric subjected her to a series of humiliations and tortures because her existence posed a significant threat to his reputation as a man of God.

Ajoke asserted that the late pastor never showered him with fatherly affection and that her father coerced her into becoming a disciple in order to destroy her life.

"Every Sunday, it was extremely difficult to observe this man preach," she stated. Subjects pertaining to compassion and mercy. They emanate an odd sensation from his lips. It is possible that I did not resemble him, given how often I examined myself in the mirror. I suppose so. "From my earliest recollections, I have been raised as the daughter of TB Joshua."

"Loss of that intensity is indescribable." There is a sense that I may not even merit to be alive. "We are discussing years and years of consistent abuse that never seemed to end," she explained.

She further stated that additional disciples joined her father in order to amplify the degradation.

"Both the disciples and the enablers were brainwashed," she stated. Everyone was merely complying with commands as if they were corpses. Ignorant of the matter were only zealots. From where originates your conscience? To what extent can one's conscience function devoid of some type of accountability?

"Ajoke was a child that I had known since his birth." In fact, she is his daughter. Furthermore, one of the disciples commented on Ajoke's association with TB Joshua, "His biological daughter from an extramarital affair."

"Within the synagogue, Ajoke thrived like an outcast." I believe he desired to maintain her privacy. He likely did not want anyone to be aware of her identity. "Ajoke was possessed of dreadful evil spirits, which were the message she bore," disclosed another female disciple.

"Being born, he punished her out of hatred." Her presence likely posed the greatest risk to his reputation. Why is she at fault? What did that young lady do? It troubles me to recall how young she was at the time. "Imagine how heartless we were," continued the disciple.

Abuses alleged to have occurred in a clandestine Nigerian compound for nearly three decades. From the United Kingdom, Nigeria, the United States, South Africa, Ghana, Namibia, and Germany, over twenty-five former members of the church provided the BBC with compelling corroborating testimony regarding their experiences within the institution from three decades prior to 2019. Each of the British victims entered the church when they were between the ages of 15 and 21. Numerous BBC interviewees likened their personal experiences to those of cult membership.

The BBC stated that it relayed the allegations in this film to the current leadership of the Synagogue Church of All Nations. They responded, "Unfounded accusations against the Prophet TB Joshua are not novel."

It was stated that "none of the allegations were ever substantiated" by the leadership.

According to the BBC, they did not respond to the specifics of the allegations.
