Kremlin says Middle East tensions benefit no one
Moscow continues to maintain constructive contacts with both Iran and Israel. The statement comes amid heightened tensions in the Middle East.
An escalation of the conflict in the Middle East is not in the interests of Israel, Iran or the entire region, Kremlin Spokesperson, Dmitry Peskov, said on Wednesday.
Peskov said that Russia calls for de-escalation, and urges all countries in the region to show reasonable restraint.
He noted that Moscow continues to maintain constructive contacts with both Iran and Israel.
The statement comes amid heightened tensions in the Middle East.
