“This collaboration with IQA positions us at the forefront of employee productivity enhancement.

The Centre for Public Service Productivity and Development (CeProd) has been accredited as an International Qualifications and Assessment (IQA) Training Centre, a move aimed at enhancing global productivity and standards.

Dr Chris Egbu, the Director-General of CeProd, who said this in a statement on Monday, said that the accreditation was a testament to the centre’s commitment to excellence in productivity research and training.

“This accreditation, designated with Training Centre Code 210 in the United States of America, acknowledges our dedication to helping individuals and organisations improve their productivity, efficiency, and performance,” Egbu said.

He said that the accreditation would enable CeProd to offer training programmes that align with international standards.

According to him, it will also ensure that participants acquire globally recognised skills and qualifications.

“This collaboration with IQA positions us at the forefront of employee productivity enhancement.

” It will be done through high-quality training and development initiatives and it allows us to deliver programmes that meet rigorous international benchmarks.

“The recognition will enable CeProd to expand its course offerings, providing more diverse and comprehensive training options for professionals across various sectors.

“We remain committed to equipping professionals with the tools they need to excel in their roles, thereby fostering sustainable growth and innovation globally,” he said.

Similarly, Prof. Sandeep Gupta, President of CeProd, expressed excitement over the accreditation.

“We are thrilled to be accredited by IQA as a training centre.

” This recognition not only validates our efforts in promoting public service productivity, it also empowers us to deliver exceptional learning experiences,” Gupta said.

He said that the accreditation would enhance the skills of employees and other professionals, contributing to effective governance and development worldwide.

“With over 300 fellows across 52 countries, including Nigeria, the USA, Canada, the United Kingdom, India, South Africa, and Senegal, CeProd continues to be a driving force in productivity research and development, ” he said.
