An insurance company, Enterprise Life, on Friday introduced a digital financial solution known as ‘AdvantageConnect’, aimed at transforming insurance and financial planning in Nigeria.

The Group Chief Executive Officer of Enterprise Life, Daniel Larbi-Tieku, said at a news conference in Lagos that the company is constantly innovating to provide solutions to problems that Nigerians face.

Larbi-Tieku said that financial inclusion is critical to building wealth in any nation, adding that many Nigerians donot have access to financial solutions, including insurance.

According to him, insurance penetration in Nigeria is less than one percent of the population because many people still see insurance as an afterthought or something for the elderly.

“We are committed to changing that perception by deploying technology to simplify processes and create financial solutions that will facilitate wealth creation and assure peace.

The Chief Executive Officer, Enterprise Life, Funmi Omo, said that the digital solution was to ease and encourage the the adoptionof insuranceas well as connect to a life planner.

Omo saidthat “AdvantageConnect” aims to redefine the insurance experience by fostering quicker and easier interaction between customers and planners.

She said that the service connects individuals with a life planner that would provide tailored-life insurance solutions that are specific to the individual’s needs.

According to her, life is full of uncertainties that have been aggravated by changing economic realities.

She said that Enterprise Life advised that people should plan their lives to buy assurance amid life’s uncertainties.

Commending the uniqueness of the solution, the Commissioner for Insurance and Chief Executive Officer of the the National Insurance Commission, Mr.. Sunday Olorundare, said that it is a truly innovative solution.

Olorundaresaid that it aligns with the vision of the Federal Government to fully digitise insurance in Nigeria.

Hecommended the vision of Enterprise Life for leading in this area.

”With AdvantageConnect, it is believed more people will have access to insurance and be brought into the financial net.

According to him, more Nigerians will be able to seamlessly access insurance products, connect with a life planner, and plan their lives better.
