Nigerian Carrier plans nationwide network expansion — Afolabi
Nigerian Carrier, Green Africa, says it is expanding its networks across the country to ease the travel burdens among Nigerians.
This is contained in a statement in Lagos on Friday by Its Chief Executive Officer, Mr Babatunde Afolabi.
Afolabi, who said that the airline’s route expansion would commence in August, added that it aimed to establish a base in Abuja and extend its presence to 16 routes across 10 states and FCT.
“The airline would connect Abuja to Sokoto, Kano, Enugu, and Ibadan. In addition to these, a second daily service will be added between Benin and Abuja, and service will resume between Abuja and Owerri.
“We set out on the Green Africa journey with a clear vision to use the power of air travel to create a better future, first in Nigeria and later on across the broader African continent.
“Our commitment to the vision remains firm and the introduction of these new routes marks the next phase of the Green Africa journey,” Afolabi said.
He added that customers would be able to enjoy fares as low as N25,000 on its routes including the new ones by booking sixty days ahead of the scheduled flight.
