A Nigerian skitmaker known as Churchill reportedly died while filming a stunt for his video content.

The instant Churchill leapt to attain a basketball net contact is captured in a video that went viral and was uploaded to the Internet on Thursday (today).

Churchill purportedly passed away tragically at the hospital, after being rushed there by eyewitnesses.

In a conversation, a user using the handle #LadyResa on Instagram disclosed that Churchill was a classmate of hers at Nasarawa State University and that the skit creator was incapacitated following the incident.

"While bedridden, he wore a neck collar." She asserted, "However, an internal injury rendered her lifeless."

Additionally, she informed our correspondent of Churchill's passing that occurred last Sunday.

Netizens and friends of the deceased comedian have continued to express their sorrow on the online platform X.

In a boat tragedy last year, Favour Daniels, a Nollywood actress and skit writer, died.

John Kennedy Kanu, better known as Bros Jay Kay, a Port Harcourt-based skit performer, was also killed in a fatal car accident the previous year.
