Breaking: Ex-Governor Willie Obiano arrested by EFCC at Lagos Airport

Willie Obiano, the immediate past governor of Anambra State, was detained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos, Nigeria, on his way to Houston, Texas, USA.

The arrest was confirmed by EFCC sources, who said he was immediately hauled away to the commission's Ikoyi unit on Awolowo road in Lagos.
