Austin Jay Jay Okocha's name is included on a list of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's alleged ministerial nominees that has been circulating since yesterday, July 10, 2023.
As Minister of State for Youth and Sports Development, Okocha, a former Super Eagles captain renowned for his mesmerising dribbling abilities, is on the list. He appears to be vying for the position of Enugu State. Despite being from Delta State, Okocha was born in Enugu.
