Mrs. Bolarin Joy Iyabo, the team leader, has undeniably impacted lives, especially by bringing out the abilities of the disabled in society.

The Kwara State Government is set to confer merit awards on some outstanding indigenes who have done the state proud in various fields of human endeavor.

The Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq administration has set December 23 as the Kwara state end-of-year merit award ceremony as a proof of his love for the people of the state.

Jibore Impeccable Foundation, an NGO along with others, finds itself among the contestants for the award for community development. Mrs. Bolarin Joy Iyabo, the team leader, has undeniably impacted lives, especially by bringing out the abilities of the disabled in society.

Supreme reported that in 2019, the burning passion of the foundation made a video of a family of four, all with disabilities, that was posted on social media and caught the attention of the Igbomina Group in America, which afterwards supported the family.

1. A family of three with disabilities in Oyate was empowered by the Foundation. The female among them was supported in selling provisions, and a fashion designing freedom ceremony was done for her. They gave them foodstuff and cash to alleviate their suffering.

2. A 40-year-old physically challenged man named Seyi was abandoned with his grandparents, so the foundation took up the care of him and employed a care giver that has been taking care of him since 2019 up to date.

3. Halimat Abdulazeez, in a wheelchair, was supported during CS delivery.

4. Over 30 people with disabilities were given palliative care during the COVID-19 pandemic.

5. Physically challenged Onome's book production was supported in Ibadan.

6. A deaf man from Zamfara was empowered by starting a charcoal business.

7. Medical support was given to lady with special needs in Kogi State.

8. Yoghurt training for people with special needs was sponsored by the foundation to empower them.

9. Financial assistance was given to the blind and the deaf during COVID-19 period.

10. Zainab Ibrahim was empowered, the shop was built, and it was stocked with food stuff.

11. Madam Afusat Abdulwahab was supported to revive her business that folded during COVID-19 lockdown.

12. Jariat, who is visually impaired, is on scholarship in the school for special needs Kwara state sponsored by the foundation.

13. Virtual personal development and skill acquisition training for over 500 people

14. Jibore Impeccable Foundation sponsors radio sensitization to create awareness about equal education opportunities for children with disabilities and to stop discrimination against people with disabilities.
