OYOSUBEB says it nabbed job-seeker over false result

Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (OYOSUBEB) on Friday said it has apprehended one Abosede Ojo, a middle-aged job-seeker, who allegedly falsified her job portal result.

Chairman of OYOSUBEB, Dr. Nureni Adeniran, told newsmen in Ibadan that the suspect was nabbed on Thursday during the ongoing verification of qualified candidates for teaching appointments.

Adeniran said the suspect, who sat for the recruitment computer-based test, scored 36 percent but decided to twist facts.

“She connived with an examination syndicate that allegedly produced a fake congratulatory message for her.

“The suspect confessed later that she did not come for the interview but liaised with her husband to get herself a congratulatory message.

“Now, she has been handed over to the police, and the security agents are presently on the trail of transactions between the suspect and the cybercafe where she got the printout,” he said.
