Some residents of Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State

have expressed divergent views on the use of body enhancers such as padded braziers, hips and bum boosters by women.

Some of the men, who spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday, said the unappealing trend gives a wrong impression about the reality of the women physique.

While some men described the trend as being ungrateful to their creator, some support the wearing of padded braziers, based on the fact that it adds more to a woman’s sexual appeal, making her to be extremely attractive.

Mr Chidi Oliseh, a trader, said the use of body enhancer was an artificial and truthless lifestyle.

”Adding artificial buttocks to God’s giving physique is bad and unattractive, as well as giving wrong impression about your stature, that would definitely be revealed to her partner when they finally get married.

“Body enhancers are falsehood , it can cause serious issues in the home because a man is usually attracted to a woman’s body, aside her facial beauty and character.

” Living a fake life can result to destruction, if a woman uses artificial things to entice a man into marrying her, the end result will be dangerous.

“When a man finds out later that his wife has been living a fake life by showcasing artificial thing, it could lead to break-up of marriage, because it is not all men that can tolerate such pretenous and deceptive act,” he said

Also, Mr Haruna Mohammed, a businessman, was of the opinion that every woman should be natural without adding any enhancers to their body to avoid deceiving men and causing problems in their relationship.

Mohammed added that creating an illusion that was totally different from reality could bring about a big problem.

He urged women to avoid such, adding that they should desist from using those body enhancers, rather they should appreciate God for their natural endowment.

“I personally dislike women who are not satisfied with what God has given them. Big or small’ they should appreciate God for such.

” They should be satisfied with what God has given them, but not going to any length to change their natural identity,” he said.

”It is better to sue those epadded enhancers than undergoing a surgeries which has taken many lives all in the name of beauty,” he said.

Mr Eze Njogulia said women actually need body enhancers due to the change in their body after given birth.

“I always encourage my wife to use body enhancers like padded bra, because nursing six children had changed the shape and size of her breast.

” I prefer my wife to use padded bras in order to look good in her wears, wearing padded bra with clothes fits her more, rather than if she uses ordinary bra,” he said.
