ADSS Class 94 "The Golden Set" Inaugurates First Female Commanding Officer

Army Day Secondary School Bori Camp Port Harcourt Class of 1994 Old Boys Association (aka The Golden Set) made history on Saturday, 5th May, 2024, by inaugurating its first female commanding officer, Mrs. Winifred Yongosi to pilot the affairs of the association for the next two years. The epic event which held at Vineyard Hall, GRA phase 2, Port Harcourt, Nigeria, was attended by her classmates, business associates, captains of industries, friends, family and well-wishers, who came in their numbers to witness the formal inauguration ceremony of Commando Winifred Yongosi. 

The handover ceremony featured speeches from the National President, immediate past commanding officer, Commando Henry Iwegbu, the Eleco Chairman, Promise Wonodi, Kingsley Robert and Hon. Aleruchi Victor.

Commando Henry encouraged the new leadership to value teamwork, while the National President stressed the importance of unity and selfless service.

An ex-commander and BOT Chairman, Bestman Wobo, urged the new team to serve with a sense of responsibility and compassion for humanity. This remarkable event organised by Marvellous-led eleco was remarkable in ushering a new chapter for the ADSS Golden Class 94.
