Kaduna elders have condemned the negative reactions from mischievous citizens over the Tudun Biri accidental bombings.
The co-Chairman of the group, retired Gen. Zamani Lekwot, made this known during a condolence visit to commiserate with Kaduna State Government.

He said such accidents happen across the globe and the military whose primary responsibility was to protect lives and property of the law-abiding citizens, would not turn around to do otherwise deliberately.
Speaking earlier, the leader of the delegation,Abubakar Mustapha, assured Gov. Uba Sani and the people of the state of their support while praying for the repose of the souls of the victims.
” We wish those on admission in the hospital a quick recovery. We will continue to rally round the government and the good people of the state.”.
He said he was happy with the steps taken so far by the state and Federal Governments towards supporting the families of the victims.
Responding, Sani thanked the forum for finding time to stand by him, people of Tudun Biri and the entire citizens in the trying moment.
According to him,the president has already ordered an investigation and with the hope that the results will soon be made known to Nigerians.
He explained that such an incident happened about 16 times in different parts of the country, saying, ”this is the first the military is owning up and taking responsibility for the catastrophic incident.”
Sani informed the elders that some mischievous elements were turning the incident into a political jamboree, adding, ”but the government has taken measures to check the nefarious attitude.”
He also pleaded with elders to always rally round the government and the people for the betterment of the state.
Sani emphasized that all the people of Tudun Biri needed was justice,and reconstruction of their community.
He assured of his administration’s commitment in ensuring that justice was done and the victims were reintegrated back to their community.
The governor also thanked all Nigerians for their high-level solidarity to the state and the people of Tudun Biri.
