Nigerian army to host tombola night to foster civil-military ties
The Tombola night was part of the command’s efforts to build bridges between the military and civilian communities.
The Training and Doctrine Command of the Nigerian Army (TRADOC), says it will hold end-of-year Tombola night aimed at strengthening civil-military relations on Dec.13.
This was contained in a statement by Lt.-Col. Sani Uba, Deputy Director, Army Public Relations and made available to the newsmen in Minna on Thursday.
Uba said the event, scheduled to be held on Friday Dec. 13, 2024, will be an exciting and entertaining experience for all attendees.
He stated that the Tombola night was part of the command’s efforts to build bridges between the military and civilian communities.
“The event would serve as an avenue for members of the Nigerian army to interact with their immediate community in order to create a cordial atmosphere.
“This is in line with the army’s efforts to build the much needed civil-military relationship.
“The event will feature a range of activities, including Tombola games, a night of laughter and a raffle draw with various prizes to be won,” Uba said.
He called on the general public to use the opportunity to participate in the event in order to strengthen military-civil relationships.
